All though it is possible to send email messages directly using JPEE as described later in this tutorial, it can also be desirable to use an SMTP server hosted by an ISP.
To enable JPEE to send email messages using remote SMTP servers, JP users must first define at least one SMTP account in the JPEE options/preferences --> Mail Server panel.
To invoke the JPEE preferences, from the Mail List Project view select the preferences toolbar button ( second from the left ). Then select the Mail Server choice in the preferences list as pictured above.
To create a new SMTP account record, click the ' New ' push-button.
