JP 5.2 adds the ability to import from local and
remote database server sources, including mySQL, PostgreSQL, and ODBC database
sources.
JPEE version 5.2 adds the ability to import from
local and remote database server sources, including mySQL, PostgreSQL, (all
supported platforms) and local ODBC database sources (PC users only).
Using the JPEE import utility, users
may specify the server type, host name, port, user, password, database name, and
SQL query. The SQL query syntax is appropriately highlighted helping users
generate appropriate SQL statements.
Highly detailed, verbose error
feedback helps users fix SQL errors when attempting the access data
sources.
